This block I have removed all traditional speed work from my training, as well as, from the powerlifting team. The reasons for pulling it from both groups is different, my “Dynamic Work” will be coming by way of med-ball throws and jumps. If the conjugate elitists think this is not true conjugate, that’s fine, it’s still concurrent in nature and conjugate is a concurrent form of training also so whatever you want to call it, be my guest. Issues with squatting and hip shift so working on the new stance is needed, in my opinion, though this change rather than speed work.
